Cycling from Lands-End to John O’Groat’s in July 2010. Who? … all of the Haddington chapter of the Duff family. Raising sponsorship for Alzheimers Society – please sponsor us via the link on the right!

We will be staying in hostels, B&Bs, bunkhouses and with friends (hopefully). See The Route for when we plan on being where – be great to meet up with anyone along the way, or if you have a spare room/floor?

See links to Facebook Info for biog stuff about us … if you can, you can, if you can’t then you shouldn’t.

You ain’t that anonymous petal. What is different between this photo of you and the many that you post of yourself on FB? Very little…

Thanks to all who have responded/sponsored so far. We will be relying on all of you who have volunteered to join us on our bikes to make good you know…

Current concerns relate to ‘padded’ shorts – apparently there is an ointment called ‘Monkey Butt’ out there – I kid you not.

Hamish and I started on our cycle training today. I had forgotten the road weaving capacity of that lad. Needs to carry a warning sign.

The legs felt good – the arms and wrists need to be toughened up.

Felt good to be out and about. Eight weeks tomorrow and we are on the Penzance train. An excuse to stop pounding the streets and cycle them instead.
